The story was a bit weird again and the way fantasy and sci fi elements are woven together is strange as well but hey, D was hot as ever, the book had a bunch of action scenes and twists so it was quite enjoyable all in all. Also I love it when someone mentions D s dad and he s like No, I don t know him wth you re talking about mate XD

I ve always thought the lady Saiko Takaki who adapts the prose and draws the manga of Vampire Hunter D has always done a wonderful job in terms of capturing the mood, spirit, and style of the novels anime Her feminine touch really brings the character to life as D comes across as an unchallenged bad ass with a slightly effeminate presence I do have some criticism, however, and, obviously Takaki cannot be blamed, as I think the stories have gotten weaker with each volume, plus I witnessed some cl [...]

One of the great things about the series is that the art just gets and fluid and pretty the further you go I m perfectly okay with the long time spans between releases if it means that I get to continue to read quality manga like this Good adaptations with absolutely stunningly beautiful art I feel kind of pretentious saying that, but it s true Again, this is really good and it s sort of got the theme of hubris going with it and works it.

Vampire Hunter D Tale of the Dead Town is the forth volume in the vaunted D series Although I liked this one, I have to admit that its my least favorite so far Its well written, has decent plot twists and so forth, but the story just leaves something to be desired, I don t know Still, a nice addition, and I m still glad to be following this great series.
